This privacy policy describes how Silverado Resort ("the Hotel") and Kismet Travel Ltd ("Kismet", "we", "us") collect, use, and protect information when you interact with our AI-powered hotel assistant. This assistant is available through platforms including ChatGPT, direct web interfaces, and other AI agent platforms.

Information We Collect

Our AI assistant is designed with a minimal data collection approach. We process the following categories of information:

  • Query content: The questions and requests you send to the assistant (e.g., "What rooms are available for March 14–16?"). These are processed in real-time to generate responses and are not stored beyond the session.
  • Search parameters: Dates, guest counts, and room preferences you provide when checking availability or rates. These are used solely to query live hotel systems and are not retained.
  • Aggregate usage metrics: We collect anonymous, aggregate statistics (e.g., number of rate queries per day) to improve our service. These metrics do not identify individual users.

We do not collect or store:

  • Names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Payment or financial information
  • Location data or device identifiers
  • Conversation history beyond the active session

How We Use Information

Information is used exclusively to:

  • Respond to your queries about hotel rooms, amenities, dining, events, policies, and other property information
  • Check real-time availability and provide rate quotes from the hotel's booking system
  • Generate booking links that direct you to the hotel's official booking page
  • Improve and maintain the quality of our AI assistant service

AI Assistant Tools

Our assistant provides the following read-only capabilities:

  • Hotel content: Access to published hotel information including rooms, dining, spa, events, policies, and FAQs
  • Rate quotes: Real-time availability and pricing for specified dates and guest configurations
  • Booking links: URLs that open the hotel's official booking page — no payment is processed through our assistant

All tools are read-only. The assistant cannot make bookings, process payments, or modify any hotel or user data. When you follow a booking link, you leave our assistant and interact directly with the hotel's booking system, which has its own privacy policy and terms.

Data Sharing

We share information only as follows:

  • Hotel systems: Search parameters (dates, guest counts) are sent to the hotel's property management system to retrieve live availability and rates. No personal data is included in these requests.
  • AI platforms: When you use our assistant through ChatGPT or similar platforms, those platforms have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your conversations. We recommend reviewing the platform's privacy policy as well.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Query data is processed in real-time and not persisted beyond the active session. Aggregate usage metrics are retained for up to 12 months for service improvement purposes. Server logs containing request metadata (IP addresses, timestamps) are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.

Security

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Our infrastructure is hosted on secure cloud platforms with industry-standard access controls, monitoring, and incident response procedures.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data from assistant interactions, there is generally no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold any personal information about you, you may contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the assistant after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
